Construction & Engineering

Construction demands precision. Your tools should too.

Scattered job sites, equipment downtime, budgets spinning out of control. We know these problems—and we know how to solve them.

Your challenges

Challenges that cost time and money

Equipment scattered across multiple jobsites
No one knows exactly where the equipment is. Morning calls to locate machines waste time and money. Job sites without planned equipment, damaged assets arriving late, permanent confusion.
Unexpected breakdowns that halt jobsites
A machine breaks down, a project stops. Reactive maintenance costs three times more than preventive maintenance. Timelines blow up, customers complain, margins vanish.
Jobsite costs invisible
No way to know if a project is profitable until final closeout. Expenses scattered across spreadsheets and paper purchase orders. Management discovers bad news far too late.
Slow and opaque procurement cycle
From field need to purchase order, the process takes weeks. Emergencies handled by phone. Spare parts missing when you need them, in stock when you don't.

Our solutions

Modules that solve every challenge

01
Real-time GPS with history, predictive maintenance, profitability per project site, and anomaly alerts. Your equipment tracked, scheduled, and maintained automatically.
02
Complete procurement workflow DA-RFQ-PO, consolidated workshop inventory, supply forecasting. Parts arrive before failure.
03
Customer portal with job tracking, automatic quotes, and centralized sales tracking. Fewer emails and calls, more time to manage.

The deployment flow

How we begin with your equipment fleet

1
Initial audit (Week 1)
We map your fleet: machines currently in service, their locations, breakdown history. We connect GPS sensors on priority equipment. Your field teams continue normally—zero operational interruption.
2
ERP integration (Weeks 2-3)
FleetOps connects to your existing management system (Cegid, Sage, Odoo). Equipment availability data feeds your forecasts. Anomaly alerts automatically reach field supervisors.
3
Maintenance configuration (Week 4)
We define maintenance thresholds for each equipment type (operating hours, mileage, detected anomalies). The system automatically generates intervention reports before failure. Mechanics receive the schedule two weeks in advance.
4
Dashboards and reporting (Week 5+)
Every director sees real-time data: full fleet location, availability rate by jobsite, maintenance costs by machine and month. Anomalies are alerted 2 hours after detection, not at breakdown.

Prerequisites that block

What must be in place before we start

Network coverage on jobsites
FleetOps works real-time over 4G/5G. If your quarries or jobsites lack stable network, data syncs when coverage returns. For permanently offline zones, we can configure relays or deferred updates. We discuss this upfront.
Readable maintenance history
We need to know what happened to your equipment: when purchased, repairs already performed, consumables replaced. If it's scattered across emails or notebooks, we spend 3-4 weeks cleaning it before moving to predictive maintenance.
Availability of field supervisors
Two days of training is enough to use dashboards and respond to alerts. No technical skills required. Someone must validate the transition and train their team.
Access to your ERP
We need to read your data: purchase orders, material invoices, accounting data per jobsite. If your ERP isn't accessible (legacy server, closed database), we can work with monthly exports, but it's slower.

What you really measure

The KPIs that move the needle

1
Equipment fleet availability
Percentage of machines operational each day. Most construction companies operate below optimal availability rates. With well-tuned preventive maintenance, this improves significantly. Every improvement translates directly into increased jobsite capacity.
2
Maintenance costs per machine
Reactive maintenance costs substantially more than preventive. Unexpected breakdowns represent a major source of productivity loss. Shifting to a predictive approach reduces this cost significantly.
3
Profitability per jobsite
Actual gross margins after allocating equipment costs, maintenance, and transport. FleetOps gives you this number daily, not at closeout. You react before losing 50k on a major project.
4
Equipment mobilization time
Days between equipment request and availability on jobsite. With optimized allocation, this delay decreases noticeably. You also reduce the logistics overhead that traditionally accompanies poor planning.

Objections we hear

Straight answers to your doubts

"My equipment doesn't have sensors—it's impossible to install."
False. GPS sensors mount in one hour on 90% of equipment. For older machines (15+ years), we can attach an external tracker. Cost: 200-400 euros per unit, recovered in 2-3 months through maintenance savings.
"My field supervisors will refuse to be tracked."
We track equipment, not people. Machine locations are visible only to dispatch. Teams see only alerts and maintenance schedules—zero personal surveillance. We've worked with unionized SMBs; no labor issues.
"My data is poorly organized."
Normal. You've been building jobsites for 20 years, not organizing databases. We spend 3-4 weeks cleaning history before moving to predictive. Cost-benefit: one week of organization for 2 years of optimized maintenance.
"This will cost me a fortune."
FleetOps runs on subscription: 200-600 euros per month depending on fleet size. If you cut breakdowns by 40% and gain 3-5 days of equipment availability per month, ROI is 6-9 months. No licensing fees, no servers to buy.
"It will overload my ERP."
Kaalytics connects read-only. We modify nothing in your system—we read data and create our own dashboards. Zero slowdown, zero risk. If your ERP goes down, FleetOps still runs in degraded mode.

Frequently asked questions

Direct answers to your concerns

How long before I see results?
First gains appear by week 3: you locate equipment in 30 seconds instead of 30 minutes; anomaly alerts reduce surprise breakdowns. Predictive maintenance gains show real value starting week 8, when the system has enough data. Plan 3-4 months for fully stable equipment availability.
How do you guarantee data security?
GDPR-compliant cloud infrastructure (AWS EU, Scaleway). Your location and technical data stay private. No data is sold, used for general AI, or shared with third parties. Annual security audit. Explicit confidentiality clause in contract.
What if I want to leave—how do I get my data back?
All data is exportable as CSV and JSON. No lock-in. You can leave with complete equipment history. 30-day notice respected. We also provide one week of technical support for transition.
Which equipment can't be tracked?
Theoretically, all can be. Practically: rented equipment with third-party operators—we don't track those, legal complexity. Small tools (chainsaws, compressors) are possible but low ROI. Diesel generators and excavators over 3 tons: 100% tracked without issue.
My ERP isn't compatible. What now?
If it's Cegid, Sage, Odoo, or Dynamics: no problem, we connect directly. If it's legacy (mainframe, proprietary system), we use monthly exports. Slower, but it works. Separate quote depending on complexity.
